2000  Jennifer Bachman and Nathan King were married in July. Both are graduate students at Pepperdine University in Malibu. King is in his second year in the master's program in clinical psychology, and Bachman is in the teaching credential program.    Navy Ensign Brett Bodine graduated from Basic Civil Engineer Corps Officer School in Port Hueneme.    John Crespi, Ph.D., assistant professor of agricultural economics at Kansas State University, received an award for Outstanding Dissertation of the Year from the American Agricultural Economics Association. Crespi specializes in agricultural marketing and trade, industrial organization, econometrics and applied microeconomics.    Chris Ramsey was named telephone outreach program manager of UC Davis' annual fund, where he manages as many as 75 student callers who raise more than $1.3 million annually.

2001  Morgan Doran, M.S., recently joined the University of California Cooperative Extension as a livestock and natural resources farm advisor for Yolo, Solano and Napa counties.    Nalani Ngoon designed a war veterans' memorial for Roseville, inspired by her late grandfather, Chin Thlu Ngoon, a second lieutenant in the Army Air Corps during World War II. In honor of her work, the Roseville veterans committee overseeing the project presented Ngoon with a plaque and a letter of thanks and planted a gingko tree on the Davis campus in memory of her grandfather.
